Enhance Your Grant Writing Skills with FREE Training and Resources

Grants can be an important source of funding and resource procurement for volunteer and combination fire and EMS departments. At the same time, many departments lack a trained grant writer familiar with the sometimes complicated application processes. The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) and MSA Safety have teamed up to help train personnel with the skills they need to write competitive applications and increase their chances of success.

The NVFC offers an online course on Grant Writing for the Fire and Emergency Services that can be taken on-demand to enhance grant-writing knowledge. Thanks to support from MSA, this course is being offered for FREE until December 7. Take the course here.

MSA is also sponsoring an NVFC Roundtable Talk on December 13, where a panel of subject matter experts will discuss grant-writing tips and resources as well as where to find grant opportunities. Learn more and register.

Attend these free sessions and gear up to write a successful application for 2024 grant opportunities, such as MSA and DuPont’s Globe Gear Giveaway, which opens in February.

You can see all ongoing and upcoming NVFC giveaways, grants, scholarships, and other options available to support your volunteer fire department here. Bookmark this page and check back often to see new opportunities as they are posted.
