NIOSH Releases Information on Using Truck-Mounted Attenuators in the Emergency Services

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Science Blog has released a post on Protecting Workers on the Roadways: The Use of Truck-Mounted Attenuators in the Fire and Emergency Services. These energy-absorbing devices attach to the rear of trailers or trucks to reduce the force of impact and increase survivability should a crash occur.
