Make Sure Your Department is Prepared for Pipeline Incidents

Pipelines carry hazardous materials through thousands of U.S. communities. While pipeline incidents are low frequency, they pose a threat to the public and responders should one occur. Make sure your department is prepared with a free toolkit and training from the Fire Department Pipeline Response, Emergency Planning, and Preparedness (FD PREPP) initiative. You can also utilize resources from the Common Ground Alliance to remind your community to contact 811 before they dig.
