FHWA Announces Virtual Train-the-Trainer Courses for TIM Responders
June 10, 2025
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is offering three upcoming virtual sessions of its Train-the-Trainer (TtT) course as part of the National Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Responder Training Program. The TtT course equips participants with the skills and resources needed to train other TIM responders in their area or state.
The eight-hour virtual training is open to individuals across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Applicants should have prior experience in instruction and TIM response, be committed to providing future training, and agree to submit training records.
The training is relevant for a wide range of disciplines, including communications, emergency management, EMS, fire/rescue, law enforcement, towing and recovery, and transportation/public works. Find details on the three sessions here and apply here.
