Ask Congress to Restore Critical Fire Service Programs

The Department of Health and Human Services recently made dramatic cuts to the staff of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. This has manifested in the elimination of critical fire service-related programs like the National Firefighter Registry for Cancer, the Firefighter Fatality Investigation and Prevention Program, and the National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory. Use the NVFC’s Legislative Action Center to ask your members of Congress to restore these critical programs.
