Arson Awareness Week Takes Place May 4-10

May 4-10 marks the 30th National Arson Awareness Week. This year’s theme is “Preventing Arson in the Wildfire Environment – A Community Approach.” Join the NVFC for a webinar on May 5 from 1-2:30pm ET to delve into this theme, including the need for investigations and wildland arson awareness training for firefighters; the unique challenges of investigating wildfires; the importance of a cooperative approach between the fire service, law enforcement, and the community; and a case studying highlighting collaborative efforts.
