To stay informed of fire sciences and tactics. To stay aware of programs and services available to the firefighting community.

What is your occupation?
Work in the computer wafer/circuit industry.

Why are you a volunteer firefighter, EMT, or rescue provider?
To give our community dependable and effective first responder services, commensurate to full-time departments.

What year did you join the fire or emergency services?

What are your memorable moments as a firefighter or EMS provider?
My first call was on Independence Day. It was very loud, and our patient was experiencing some anxiety due to PTSD. I could relate to my patient in a very personal sense as I, too, had been deployed to a combat tour myself. We were able to provide comfort and aid until paramedics arrived to transport our patient.

What contributions have you (and your department) made in your community?
Improved service and additional training in swiftwater rescue.
