What is your career?
I am a full time State of Florida Correctional Officer Sergeant, and I farm some also.

Why are you an NVFC member?
It is a great organization for information and training ideas for our very small rural all volunteer fire department.

Why are you a volunteer firefighter?
I help out because I enjoy helping my community, and I help because I many need help one day and hope someone will be willing to help me out.

How long have you been in the fire service?
23 years

What are your memorable moments as a firefighter or EMS provider?
Several moments, but I remember my first car crash that had fatalities and a large department store fire in a neighboring community that involved 15 fire departments and over 100 firefighters.

What contributions have you (and your department) made in your community?
I have helped my community stay safe for over 20+ years.
