Why are you a fire service volunteer?
It gets me out of my comfort zone. Many in my family are firefighters. In this life, it’s not about what you have or get — it’s about those you touch in a special way and help in their time of need.

What year did you join the fire or emergency services?
2007

What are your memorable moments as a firefighter or EMS provider?
Just seeing people’s faces when they see help has arrived.

What contributions have you (and your department) made in your community?
We have improved our fire rating, and the community has had a reduction in insurance fees. Also, we get involved with community events.
