Remembering First Responders Lost to Suicide

On May 19, the Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance (FBHA) will host their ninth annual “We Remember” Night. Fire, EMS, and dispatch organizations are encouraged to place a rig(s) on their driveway and turn on their emergency lights, or light a candle, for one minute to express support for the first responders whose voices have gone silent by suicide, and to remember the families that have suffered this tragic loss.

Community members are welcome to join at their local participating location or stand in their own driveway and light a candle to remember a loved one. FBHA family survivors will gather at Pigeon Forge (TN) Fire Department and begin a live broadcast on Facebook at 8:50pm ET. All are encouraged to take photos or videos and send them to info@ffbha.org to show your support for the families who have lost a loved one to suicide.
