PHMSA Announces Two Grant Opportunities to Assist with Hazmat Response

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity for two grants. The Pipeline Emergency Response Grant focuses on incident response activities related to the transportation of gas or hazardous liquids by pipeline in high consequence areas. The Technical Assistance Grant provides funding to local communities and groups of individuals for technical assistance related to pipeline safety. Applications are due by May 4.
