Participate in COVID-19 Study to Mitigate Impact of Future Pandemics on First Responders
June 29, 2021
A research team from the University of Maryland’s START and Second Sight Training Systems is conducting an interview-based study to identify best practices to make first responder organizations more resilient to pandemics.
If you are a member of a first responder organization responding to COVID-19, please take a moment to complete this short screener (about 6-8 minutes) and, if you are interested, participate in a follow-up interview later. All responses will be anonymous and reported in ways that protect personal and organizational identities.
This research is part of a larger study funded by the Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate to measure the impact of COVID-19, identify best practices organizations can put in place to protect themselves in the short term, and identify strategies to make first responder organizations more resilient to pandemics.
