NVFC Launches New VoterVoice Advocacy Platform

Advocacy is a critical part of the National Volunteer Fire Council’s (NVFC) mission, and the louder our voice is the stronger it is. That is where grassroots advocacy comes in. When the NVFC has a legislative priority it wants to get through Congress, members can use the NVFC Legislative Action Center to help.

The CQ Engage platform the NVFC previously utilized has been retired, so the NVFC has moved its Legislative Action Center to a different platform called VoterVoice. VoterVoice operates in a similar manner to CQ Engage. The NVFC will issue an Action Alert to the fire and emergency services when there is a legislative priority before Congress. You will then be able to use the platform to easily contact your Senators and Representative to ask them to support the legislation.

Access the new Legislative Action Center here, and be sure to use the sign up function on the right of the page to receive Action Alerts when they are issued. The NVFC appreciates the advocacy of our members; it has been crucial in getting our legislative priorities accomplished. We look forward to continuing to work with you to move policy that will strengthen the volunteer fire and EMS services nationwide.
