NPPGov Provides Cooperative Purchasing Options for Volunteer Fire and EMS Departments

A recent survey conducted by the NVFC found that 86% of volunteer fire departments have been adversely impacted by inflation and high gas prices. When asked what might help, over 41% said cooperative buying agreements with negotiated lower rates for equipment, gear, and technology. That is what National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) partner NPPGov provides.

NPPGov is a cooperative purchasing organization that offers one of the largest selections of public safety agreements focusing on fire and emergency medical products and services. The NVFC has partnered with NPPGov to provide departments with FREE membership to NPPGov. NVFC members can “piggyback” off NPPGov’s competitively bid agreements, allowing their department to purchase products and services above threshold at national tier pricing without having to conduct their own RFP process. As an added benefit, NVFC members also have access to a large portfolio of individual discounts through NPPGov.
