There is a lot of research on firefighter health, exposure, performance, and safety. But often these studies are inaccessible to department decision makers. Science to the Station is changing that. Their new S.C.A.N. briefs take research and turn it into something usable – short, practical, evidence-based, and built for real humans doing real jobs.
