A Wildland Fire Assessment Program (WFAP) course will be held at the Fire Shows West Conference & Expo. The WFAP is brought to you by the National Volunteer Fire Council and U.S. Forest Service to help fire departments conduct home safety assessments in the wildland-urban interface. This free, four-hour train-the-trainer course details what to look for in and around a home that may pose a danger when a wildfire strikes.
