Deadline Approaching for Two Emergency Service Grants

There is still time to apply for the Rural EMS Training Grant. SAMHSA will be awarding grants of up to $200,000 to support the recruitment and training of EMS clinicians in rural areas, with a particular focus on addressing mental and substance use disorders. The deadline is Feb. 14. The application period for FEMA’s Fire Prevention & Safety grant is also open. These grants support projects that enhance the safety of the public and firefighters from fire and related hazards. The deadline is Feb. 18.
