The application period for FEMA’s Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grant is open through March 12. Fire departments and volunteer firefighter interest organizations can apply for funding to support recruitment and retention initiatives for volunteer and paid firefighters. Learn more.
