Applications for the TRANSCAER Hazmat Team Response Fund Due May 1

The TRANSCAER^SM Hazmat Team Response Fund has been established to assist hazmat responders in acquiring hazmat response equipment and advanced training to protect themselves and their community when responding to hazardous materials transportation incidents.

For the first time in 2021, the TRANSCAER Hazmat Team Response Fund will provide awards ranging from $500 to $2,500 to hazmat teams across the United States who are seeking to purchase specific hazmat equipment or attend advanced training. As funding availability increases through their Corporate Member Program, the number of awards provided annually will increase.

The 2021 application period is open until May 1, 2021.  Recipients will be announced by July 1. At least two hazmat teams will be selected to receive $500 to $2,500 in funding.
