Application Period Now Open for Community Wildfire Defense Grant

The Community Wildfire Defense Grant from the U.S. Forest Service helps at-risk communities plan for and reduce the risk against wildfires. Eligible communities in the wildland urban interface can utilize the grant to restore and maintain landscapes, create fire adapted communities, and improve wildfire response.
