AFG Application Period Extended

FEMA has extended the application period for the Assistance to Firefighters Grant to 5pm ET on January 21. This means there is still time to apply for funding for fire and EMS department necessities such as gear, equipment, vehicles, and training. In addition, the application periods for the Fire Prevention & Safety Grant and Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grants are expected to open in January.
