Wildland Fire Assessment Resources Now Available

When it comes to wildfires, it is not a question of if but rather when the next one will strike. As part of the Wildland Fire Assessment Program (WFAP), the NVFC has compiled a list of training, tools, and programs available to help fire departments address structural assessments in the wildland urban interface as well as prepare their communities before the next wildfire. WFAP is a joint effort by the U.S. Forest Service and the NVFC to provide firefighters with training on how to properly conduct assessments for homes located in wildland fire areas. View resources.
