Wildfire Community Preparedness Day is May 2

May 2 is Wildfire Community Preparedness Day, a time to raise awareness of wildfire risk and help make communities more fire adapted. You may not be able to conduct in-person campaigns at this time, but you can still spread important safety messages online and through media outlets. You can also take the online Wildland Fire Assessment Program training to learn how to conduct home assessments in the future to help residents be better prepared for the next wildfire.
