When Hospitals Become Killers

An article in the Wall Street Journal looks at the drug-resistant, lethal germ known as CRK (short for carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella), which struck the National Institutes of Health Medical Center in 2011 and now is invading hospitals across the country. The germ poses a major threat to public health, and following current measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control cannot control its spread. Read article.
