We Remember: Nation Marks 25 Years Since 9/11
September 8, 2026
It has been 25 years since the September 11 attacks on the U.S., and the NVFC joins with the rest of the nation in remembering those we have lost and the brave sacrifice of the hundreds of responders who showed up that day and in the subsequent weeks to help others. We also reflect on the continual progress the fire and emergency services have made to be better prepared and ready for emergencies of all types. Watch this message from NVFC Chair Steve Hirsch.
