Update on the 2020 NVFC Training Summit

As the nation and world have continued to adapt to the many unprecedented changes brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) has been actively evaluating the effect on our own programs and events. After carefully considering national, state, and local social distancing and travel advisements, as well as individual economic impact, we will be transitioning our 2020 NVFC Training Summit to a modified virtual event and making plans for a full-length, in-person Training Summit in 2021.

We will be finalizing details and provide more information on both events in the coming weeks. We will communicate updates as we have them via email and the Summit web site. For now, please save the date for free virtual training on June 26-27.

We recognize that our attendees and members are likely on the front lines of response in their communities as well as dealing with their own health and financials impacts.
