University of Texas Awarded Grant to Study Online Health Program for Volunteer Firefighters

The University of Texas Health Science Center has been awarded a $1.5 million grant from FEMA to test the effectiveness of The First Twenty, an internet and mobile-based health and wellness program intended to improve volunteer firefighters’ nutrition and fitness and reduce the risk of obesity and cardiovascular disease.
