Training Spotlight – FC-401: Engaging Youth Volunteers

Fire Corps programs connect departments with community members to help with non-operational activities, such as fire prevention education in schools, parades and special events, and fundraising. Teens can be a great asset to help with these activities. This course is designed to teach how to successfully start a youth Fire Corps program, including methods to ensure the sustainability of the program and keep teens engaged.
