Tell Us What You Think about Proposed National EMS Commemorative Work in DC Area

On May 12, bi-partisan legislation (H.R. 2274) was introduced in the House to authorize the National EMS Memorial Foundation to establish a commemorative work in or near Washington, DC, to honor the commitment and service provided by emergency medical service personnel. Under the bill, federal funds could not be used to pay any expense related to establishing the commemorative work, and it would be the sole responsibility of the National EMS Memorial Foundation to accept contributions and pay for construction.
