Schedule On-site Training through Wildland Fire Assessment Program

The Wildland Fire Assessment Program (WFAP) is a joint effort by the U.S. Forest Service and the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) to provide volunteer firefighters and non-operation support teams with resources and training for conducting assessments for homes located in the Wildland-Urban Interface. The WFAP course is available as an in-person training session at local fire departments, fire academy, or other location. This instructor-led program includes a half-day of four one-hour modules. Contact Lori Moon at lmoon@nvfc.org or 888-ASK-NVFC (275-6832) for course details and to schedule and on-site training.
