Register Now for the 2020 NVFC Recruitment & Retention Experience

Travel stipends available

Registration is now open for the inaugural National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Experience, to be held September 25-26 in Cleveland, OH. This interactive educational and networking conference is open to all volunteer firefighters and EMS providers nationwide and targeted toward department leadership and recruitment officers. Attendance is limited, so register now to secure your spot.

The NVFC R&R Experience builds on the success of the health and safety focused NVFC Training Summit conference series. The new R&R focused event is an opportunity for fire and EMS personnel from across the country to participate in valuable classroom training as well as exchange ideas and best practices with their peers. The registration fee for the Experience is $129, which includes two days of training from industry leaders, a networking reception with vendor expo, and most meals. To help more first responders attend, a travel stipend is available for select attendees. Stipends will be awarded on a monthly basis, with deadlines on the first of the month from June-August. The stipend will reimburse a total of up to $750, which can include two nights at the conference hotel, round-trip economy airfare, cab/shuttle fare, mileage, and the event registration fee. Full details and criteria are available on the application form. To be considered eligible for the travel stipend, you must be a current member of the NVFC. Membership options and benefits can be found at www.nvfc.org/join.
