Is your fire department handing out goodie bags this Halloween? You can use this opportunity to help recruit volunteers! Joe Maruca, chief of the West Barnstable (MA) Fire Department, reports that his firefighters will be dropping off treats to houses with children this Halloween and including a recruitment flyer created from the free Make Me A Firefighter materials generator to let the parents know they can join the department.
