NVFC to Attend Interschutz Trade Show in Germany

The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) has grown exponentially since its founding in 1976, even as our core mission remains the same: to represent the United States fire and emergency services on the national level. To learn from the challenges and solutions that our colleagues in other countries face, the NVFC will be attending Interschutz 2015 in Hannover, Germany, from June 8-13.
Since the organization’s inception, fire and emergency response personnel in other countries have reached out to the NVFC to share best practices and learn more about the American fire service. These partnerships have been strengthened in the past few years as the NVFC began offering an International Member option. The NVFC will continue to connect with these partners and make new ones at Interschutz, a premier trade show uniting over 125,000 rescue, fire prevention, disaster relief, safety, and security-focused visitors from 46 nations. The NVFC will be at the show for the first time to network with other nations, exchange information regarding health and safety of the fire and emergency services, explore training opportunities, and grow our membership globally.
NVFC staff and board members will be at Booth 13 in Hall 27, Stand G30 with resources and information in four languages. We invite any international or U.S. attendees to stop by and learn more about the NVFC and the many benefits of membership. For more information about the show, visit www.interschutz.de.
