NVFC Seeks Video Testimonials for New Training about Family Life in the Volunteer Fire Service

The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) is creating a new training on the topic of family life in the volunteer fire service and is seeking video testimonials, tips, and best practices. This training is an extension of What to Expect: A Guide for Family Members of Volunteer Firefighters, and will introduce family members to the basics of the volunteer firefighter life and provide guidance for keeping family relationships strong, being part of the fire department family, and more. The training is intended for spouses, children, parents, siblings, or significant others of volunteer and paid-on-call responders, and will help them navigate the volunteer fire service life.

If you are interested in being featured in the training, contact Lori Moon at lmoon@nvfc.org for more details.

Both the guide and training are created in partnership between the NVFC and FirefighterWife.com.
