NVFC EMS/Rescue Section Officer Nominations Due by January 1

Nominations for officers of the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) EMS/Rescue Section are due by January 1. The positions of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, and three Director-at-Large positions will be up for election in 2013. The six elected officers, along with one director appointed by the NVFC Chairman, comprise the EMS/Rescue Section Executive Committee.
 
All Section members are eligible to be placed in nomination for office. If more than one eligible member is nominated for any of the offices to be filled, then no later than February 15 the Section Elections Committee shall arrange for the production and mailing of ballots to all members eligible to vote. The ballots are to be returned with a postmark no later than March 15. The results of the election will be made official at the annual meeting of the Section on May 10, 2013, in Alexandria, VA.
