New TIM Web Site Launched

Many first responders are killed or suffer serious injuries while addressing traffic incidents on the nation’s roadways. The National Volunteer Fire Council is working with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and other fire groups to promote the importance of Traffic Incident Management (TIM) training under the Second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2).

As part of these efforts, the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) has launched a new web site – www.safequickclearance.org – to serve as a hub for emergency responder TIM. Visit the site to learn about TIM training opportunities in your area, access TIM resources, and find the latest news and updates.
