New Free Hurricane Planning for Small- and Mid-Sized Agencies Program Available
May 6, 2013
Hurricane season starts next month, and the Firefighters Support Foundation’s (FSF) newest training is now available to help departments get ready. Hurricane Planning for Small- and Mid-Sized Agencies addresses the phases of the hurricane event and the preparatory actions that agencies should be taking during each of them.
The program consists of a 30-minute video presentation and an accompanying 34-slide PowerPoint. The presenter is August Vernon, a well-known emergency management trainer. All agencies in potential hurricane paths should be prepared in case one hits this season.
The program is free to all members of public safety and emergency management agencies. Simply go to www.ffsupport.org to download your copy.
