National Rural Health Day is November 15

Nearly 59.5 million people live in rural communities. To “Celebrate the Power of Rural” and honor the selfless, community-minded, “can do” spirit that prevails in rural America, the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health have set aside November 15 as National Rural Health Day. This event also provides an opportunity to bring to light the unique healthcare challenges that rural citizens face and showcase the efforts of rural healthcare providers, State Offices of Rural Health, and other rural stakeholders to address these challenges.
