It’s National Hurricane Preparedness Week, and now is the perfect opportunity to make sure your community and your department are ready in case a hurricane strikes. Hurricanes can bring flooding, destructive winds, tornadoes, and high surf and rip currents. Make sure you are ready with resources from NOAA’s National Hurricane Preparedness Week web site and the NVFC’s Hurricane Preparedness Resource Center.
