National EMS Advisory Council to Meet on April 23-24 in Washington, DC

The National EMS Advisory Council (NEMSAC), which advises the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Interagency Committee on EMS (FICEMS), will be meeting April 23-24 in Washington, DC. The meeting is open to the public and anyone interested in attending can register by clicking here.
The NEMSAC is expected to discuss the EMS Education Agenda for the Future, the EMS Agenda for the Future, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and the National EMS Culture of Safety Strategy. Click here to view the full meeting agenda.
Public input is critical to the success of NEMSAC and the federal EMS programs it advises. Public comment is encouraged prior to the meeting by e-mailing NEMSAC@dot.gov by April 18 and during the meeting at 1pm on April 23 or 9am on April 24.
