The National EMS Advisory Council (NEMSAC) will meet March 28-30 in Washington, D.C. This meeting will include a special roundtable event on the EMS Education Agenda for the Future: A Systems Approach. National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) EMS/Rescue Section member Ed Mund will be participating in the roundtable on behalf of the NVFC.

Because of the importance of the Education Agenda in our nation’s EMS system and of the need to assure it remains a contemporary document, the NEMSAC decided to address the future of the Education Agenda and to host the roundtable to hear directly from stakeholders. There will also be further opportunities for input from individual stakeholders and organizations.

The NEMSAC will meet all day on March 29 and in the morning of March 30 for its regularly scheduled session. EMS/R Section Chair Ken Knipper is a member of NEMSAC representing the volunteer EMS discipline.
