What: The National Volunteer Fire Council’s Training Summit brings together volunteer fire and EMS personnel from across the country for two days of classroom sessions and networking. Courses cover a wide range of fire service topics focusing on health, safety, leadership, operations, recruitment, retention, and more. View agenda.
Who: The conference is open to all volunteer firefighters, EMS providers, department leadership, and other fire department personnel from across the United States.
When: Friday, June 14, at 8:30am through Saturday, June 15 at 4pm
Where: Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Portland, 1000 NE Multnomah Street, Portland, OR 97232
Why: This event provides the opportunity to learn about critical fire service topics and gather real-world take-aways and resources that you can bring back to your own fire or emergency service department. You also have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with other fire service volunteers to discover innovative solutions and best practices for meeting the challenges facing today’s fire service.
