It’s National Volunteer Week: Celebrate with Free Training from the NVFC

April 6-12 is National Volunteer Week, and the NVFC appreciates everything that volunteer firefighters, emergency medical providers, and rescue workers do to keep our communities safe. This week is a time for communities to celebrate their volunteers as well as for organizations to promote volunteerism and garner support for their volunteers.

In recognition of this week, the NVFC is offering our Volunteer Recruitment in the Emergency Services and Volunteer Retention in the Emergency Services courses for free. These courses are provided through the NVFC’s Virtual Classroom and will be available for free through April 13. Use this week to discover new ways to attract members to your organization and strategies to keep the volunteers you have.
