Free Course: Leadership for the Fire and Emergency Services

Good leadership is the key to a successful fire department. Says NVFC Chair Steve Hirsch, “Leadership in local departments is critical to not only how the department operates on a day to day basis, but has a direct relationship on the safety of our firefighters. I encourage departments to take a look at the leadership series of classes offered by the NVFC to enhance their ability to manage their departments, to grow their departments and, most importantly, to protect their firefighters.”

To help in this effort, the NVFC is providing the course Leadership for the Fire and Emergency Services FREE for a limited time. This course examines leadership styles, qualities, and practices to help departments function at a high level by avoiding fire service leadership pitfalls. Take this course in the NVFC Virtual Classroom. Additional leadership courses will be offered for free over the next two months, so stay tuned for announcements.

Note: The NVFC is offering this course free-of-charge for a limited time to all fire and emergency service members. NVFC courses are always free for NVFC members.
