Firehouse Kitchen Premieres October 6

A new show called Firehouse Kitchen debuts on Saturday, October 6, on WLNY, a CBS affiliate in the NY, NJ, and CT area. Hosted by Chef Joseph T. Bonanno Jr., Firehouse Kitchen centers around the food creations of firefighters from across the country and offers culinary tips, budget friendly meals, and a look at the unique lifestyle of firefighters across America.

Bonanno, a 21-year veteran of the Fire Department of New York, is author of The Healthy Firehouse Cookbook and The Firehouse Grilling Cookbook. He is a graduate of the Culinary Academy of Long Island and of New York University, where he studied fitness and nutrition. In addition to his many media appearances, Bonanno has provided cooking demonstrations and video tips for the NVFC’s Heart-Healthy Firefighter Program.
