Final Draft Model Interstate Compact for EMS Personnel Licensure and State Adoption Now Available

Over the past several months, the National Association of Sate EMS Organizations (NASEMSO) engaged a National Advisory Panel, which included the National Volunteer Fire Council, to develop a model interstate compact for states’ legislative use to solve the problem associated with day-to-day emergency deployment of EMS personnel across state boundaries. The final draft has been delivered to the Department of Homeland Security and rollout has commenced throughout the EMS community. Learn more.
