Feedback Wanted: Traffic Incident Management
March 24, 2014
The National Volunteer Fire Council, the International Association of Fire Chiefs, and the Emergency Responder Safety Institute are seeking fire and emergency service input on how responders operate, train, and collaborate on incident scenes in the roadway. Traffic Incident Management (TIM) training promotes responder safety; safe, quick clearance; and prompt, reliable, and interoperable communications.
Resources, information, and training options are available to help first responders with TIM. To better serve our members and the fire service at large, we are gathering your input on how best to share this information across the fire and emergency service community via this survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/S222JHZ
Responses are due by Friday, April 18. The survey should take less than five minutes to complete. Your input is critical in ensuring the needs of the fire and emergency service are met. For more information on TIM, please visit www.safequickclearance.org.
