For the last nine years, I have been working alongside the first responder community. Specifically, I assisted in the development and creation of the first co-responder program in Colorado beginning in 2014, and then worked in evaluative services at a private police and public safety agency for nearly two years. Presently, I created a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for first responders in Colorado called Mission Six. This is considered a five-day/week program in a group therapy setting. This programming occurs during daytime hours, allowing for connection with loved ones and/or the community in the evenings and weekends.
