Chris Barron Named Volunteer Fire Chief of the Year

Chris Barron has been named Volunteer Fire Chief of the Year by the International Association of Fire Chiefs and Pierce Manufacturing. Barron is chief of Manchaca Fire/Rescue, Executive Director of the State Firemen’s and Fire Marshal’s Association of Texas, and a recently appointed board member to the National Volunteer Fire Council.
