The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offers access to courses for public health, fire, EMS, law enforcement, and disaster management personnel. The TrainingFinder Real-time Affiliate Integrated Network (TRAIN) lists state or federal classes on a variety of topics.
Over 2,200 classroom or online courses are searchable by subject area, date, audience, credit type, and more. Emergency management and EMS have over 500 courses including Bioterrorism Agents, Alternative Standards of Care in Disasters, and individual classes on specific chemical, biological, and infectious diseases.
Course details such as availability, fees, credit or Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and other specifics differ depending on the courses’ hosting agency.
